      Great question. On a gas grill, I would put the burners between medium and high. On a Charcoal grill, just create 2-zone grilling with all the coals on one side, and grill them over those coals. The temp for burgers does not matter as the burgers don't stay on very long. I hope this helps and thanks for watching.

    • @GrillinandChillinwithColeman
      @GrillinandChillinwithColeman Місяць тому

      Great question! I find that I get a better sear with castiron. Whether it be a castiron grill grate or skillet. The wire grates don't seem to hold the heat long enough to get a good sear, plus I have to keep it on there longer, and it continues to cook the inside. With castiron, I get a tge great fast sear I am seeking. Thanks for watching, my friend.

    I don't know what I did wrong with mine, I put them on the grill at 250 degrees and after 3 hrs they looked raw, I didn't put sugar in them, just two separate seasonings with the mustard as a sticking agent for the rub. I still wrapped them and put them in the oven, hopefully after 2 hrs they looked better than when I pulled them out of the grill 😞 I'll update after I pulled them out of the oven..... UPDATE Ribs came out ok, not super tender but flavorful, tender enough and most important edible. Thank you for uploading this video it was very helpful.

    • @GrillinandChillinwithColeman
      @GrillinandChillinwithColeman Місяць тому

      I have heard this from several viewers, and every time, it seems to be that they trusted the temp gauge in the lid of their gas grill. You might try getting your grill back up to 250, a cording to the lid, and using a separate temp gauge on the grill where you place the ribs. My guess will be that there will be a big difference, maybe as much as 100°. If you wind up running this test, please let me know if this is the case.

    • @efrain9237
      @efrain9237 Місяць тому

      @@GrillinandChillinwithColeman I was also using a separate thermometer and was reading quite accurate, the rub on the ribs was stuck on the ribs which I heard is a sign they might be ready for wrapping. I checked the meat temp before wrapping them and read 174° I put the oven at 290° and set it for 2 hrs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it gets better. Thank you for your prompt response!

      @Conky88 It's a great way to break in the grill. Check out my steak video, and you might try that process next time.

    yaaaaaaaa. Thats 6-7 hours just grilling ribs. No thank you. A lot better ways to make juicy ribs then spending a whole day on the grill.

      @@GrillinandChillinwithColeman Nah I'm good. Too busy moving around and playing airsoft. I'm not the one for standing at a grill all day. I can however post the video link of the person I follow for better ribs. Would you like that? Maybe you coul d learn a few things.
